“Working with Scott was a pleasure. He took the time to learn our business and worked diligently to provide us with what we needed. Very professional and extremely responsive. Would highly recommend.”
What is a Website Redesign?
A website redesign is simply taking your old outdated website and turning it into a new one.
I communicate via email or meet in person and gather your ideas—or provide valuable input of my own—and begin to reconstruct the site with the existing content and information.
A new development site is staged in a temporary subdirectory—usually www.yourwebsite.com/new—a new state-of-the-art WordPress theme is agreed upon and we start to rebuild your brand and image.
I first just use the existing logo (I can redesign that as well), Pages, text and contact information and insert them into the new website pages. Modern sliders, forms, widgets and visual elements (below) can then be utilized that look great and adapt to all devices such as large-screen HD tvs, tablets and mobile phones.
New larger, clear photos are added and everything is updated and replaced into the new framework. All forms are tested and any new features are added to bring your business or organization into the 21st Century. Anything is possible and it moves fairly quickly after the theme is chosen and the design/look and feel is established.
We then simply set a live date and the new development site is transferred to the main root site and voila! You have a brand new website and business image with full modern functionality.
With your new updated visually-editable WordPress system it is now much more simple for you or your staff to make changes in-house, and I can provide helpful tips and step-by-step technical procedures for you to accomplish this. You can now also take advantage of a corporate Blog and post live content to social networks straight from your mobile phone.
